The Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God was celebrated on Thursday, August 15, throughout the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania.

On Thursday, August 6, the community of Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church celebrated the Feast of the Transfiguration.

The parish of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Olyphant, PA celebrated the feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.

St. Michael’s Parish had Panikhida Service in both St. Michael’s Cemetery in Mount Carmel, BPA, and St. Peter’s and Paul’s Cemetery in Centralia, PA, on Saturday morning, July 25th.

At St. Michael’s Church in Mount Carmel we celebrated Great Vespers on Sunday evening and Divine Liturgy on Monday morning in honor of the Holy Prophet Elijah.

Due to the current pandemic, with the blessing of Archbishop Mark, the parish of Christ the Saviour celebrated the Great Feast of Pentecost with an outdoor Divine Liturgy.

On Sunday, June 7, the faithful of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Olyphant celebrated the re-opening of the parish after having been shut down in mid March as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic.
