St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Celebrates Palm Sunday with Blessing of Palms and Willows - 04/09/2017
On Palm Sunday, April 9, pussy willows and palms were blessed by Fr. James Weremedic, Rector, assisted by Fr. James Mason and Fr. Thomas Edwards at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Bethlehem, PA. The blessed palms and pussy willows were then distributed to the faithful of the congregation.
After the Divine Liturgy, our annual Lenten covered dish meal was served in the Chernay Fellowship Hall. Delicious food and Christian fellowship were enjoyed by all who attended.
As we start Holy Week, we wait with great anticipation the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior.
