Feast of the Entry of Our Lord into Jerusalem celebrated at St. Nicholas - 04/28/2024

On Saturday, April 27, Lazarus Saturday, after the Divine Liturgy, the Sunday school students and teachers prepared pussy willows and palms for distribution to the parish. The willows and palms were blessed by Fr. Nikolai Breckenridge, Rector of St. Nicholas Church, at Vespers that evening.

On Sunday, April 28, The Feast of the Entry of Our Lord into Jerusalem was celebrated at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Bethlehem, PA. The faithful of St. Nicholas Church welcomed 2 catechumens into their parish family. Please keep John and Nicholas in your prayers as they prepare for Holy Illumination!

Prior to the Divine Liturgy, the pussy willows and palms were handed out to the faithful of the parish. The faithful held the palms during the Divine Liturgy, chanting "Hosanna in the Highest, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!"
