On Sunday, November 17, the Sunday School of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Edwardsville, PA held their annual Advent Lenten Pizza luncheon. The students, parents, teachers, members of the St. Stephen's men's club were joined by Fr. George Volkovinsky on Friday, November 16, in Repella Hall where they prepared home made crust topped with a variety of lenten treats. The pizzas were cooked and served following Divine Liturgy on Sunday, November 17, 2013. The faithful were pleased to welcome recently retired clergy, Fr. Michael Evans and his wife, Matushka Sonya Evans, who were married at St. John's in 1972. Fellowship and fine food were enjoyed by all who attended.
