On Sunday, June 23rd the community of Christ the Saviour celebrated the great and holy feast of Pentecost. We were renewed in our mission and vision as the Church, both remembering, and participating in, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and Disciples as they received the promise of our Lord - "However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you in all truth" (John 16:13). Following the Divine Liturgy we celebrated the Kneeling Vespers of Pentecost and then gathered in the fellowship hall for our second annual Parish International Day. We shared the culinary and cultural diversity of our community - and were given a "taste" of the unity that only comes through the gift of the Holy Spirit!
