Feast of Holy Pentecost Served at St. Michael's - 06/23/2024
WILMINGTON, DE [DOEPA]
On Sunday, June 23, The Feast of Holy Pentecost was celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox Church in Wilmington, DE. The Services for the Feast were served by Priest Silouan Burns, Rector of St. Michael's Church, and Deacon James Carpenter, Attached to St. Michael's Church. Following the Divine Liturgy the Kneeling Vespers of Pentecost were served.
Joyous Feast! S'pradznikom!
"Blessed are Thou O Christ Our God! Thou hast revealed the fishermen as most wise. By sending down upon them the Holy Spirit. Through them Thou drew the world into Thy net. O Lover of Man, Glory to Thee!"
