In view of the natural disasters in Japan and the Southern states and thanks to generous offerings received at Lenten Deanery Services, the Wilkes-Barre Deanery, at their meeting on June 9, unanimously moved to disburse $1,600 to IOCC for Japan relief and an additional donation of $500 for tornado relief in the South.  The Deanery further contributed $500 to OCMC to support Christina Semon of All Saints Church, Olyphant, in her current missionary assignment in Moldova.  The Deanery expresses its appreciation to deanery faithful for making these contributions possible.
