On Sunday, May 28, His Grace, Bishop Tikhon celebrated at St Nicholas
Orthodox Church in Bethlehem on the occasion of the final Sunday
Liturgy for the Rector of the parish, Fr. Dimitri Oselinsky, who is
retiring from active service effective July 1. Fr. James Mason, who
will be temporarily serving the parish for the month of July, also
concelebrated together with His Grace and Fr. Dimitri. At the
conclusion of the Liturgy, Bishop Tikhon offered words of appreciation
and thanks to Father Dimitri and Matushka Mary-Ann for their many
years of dedicated service to the Orthodox Church in America and for
their labors at St Nicholas Church. Father Dimitri also gave thanks
to the faithful for their prayers and support and warmly bid farewell
to all those present during the veneration of the Cross. May Father
Dimitri and Matushka Mary-Ann enjoy peace and rest in their
well-deserved retirement and may He grant them many, many years!
