MECHANICSBURG, PA [DOEPA]

On Sunday, June 16, The Fathers of the 1st Ecumenical Council, Father's Day, Holy Apostles Orthodox Church in Mechanicsburg, PA, was blessed to have Priest Kirill Zawatski serve the Divine Liturgy. Fr. Kirill graduated from St. Tikhon’s Theological Seminary this past May and will be assigned Acting Rector of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church in Frackville, PA, effective July 1, 2024.

After the Divine Liturgy, the community of Holy Apostles paid tribute to the Fathers, Grandfathers, Godfathers, and Spiritual Fathers of the parish with a potluck fellowship luncheon. The parish extended a heartfelt “Thank You” to Fr. Kirill and congratulated him on his recent graduation and assignment to Holy Ascension Church. May God grant Fr. Kirill and Pani Olivia Many Years!
