The Orthodox Christian Charities of Greater Harrisburg, Inc. (OCCGH) is pleased to announce its 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament.

The Orthodox Christian Charities of Greater Harrisburg, Inc. (OCCGH) was created and is run by four local Orthodox parishes in the Greater Harrisburg area for the purpose of organizing and developing coordinated outreach and charity to those in need in the area. One of the first projects of OCCGH sponsored was to open a coffee house and bookstore in downtown Harrisburg. While the shop was closed in July 2018 after almost seven years of operation, during its time of operation, the coffee house donated its profits to a different local charity every month. Currently, OCCGH is partnering with the Bethesda Mission once per month to cook and serve a meal at its Women's Shelter, and also donates regularly to many worthwhile local charities in the Greater Harrisburg area serving those in need, the underprivileged, and youth development programs. We are always exploring other options to provide outreach opportunities in the Harrisburg area.
As part of its effort to expand its outreach, OCCGH is sponsoring its sixth annual four­person scramble golf tournament, which will be held at Eagles Crossing Golf Course in Carlisle, PA on Saturday, July 9, 2022, with a shot-gun start at 8:30 A.M. and a catered lunch to follow.
