On Sunday. November 8, the community of St. John the Baptist gathered for Worship, celebrating Divine Liturgy. At the end of Liturgy, Fr. Silouan asked all present military veterans to come to the front in celebration of Veteran’s Day (November 11th).  Parishioners Ed Van Camp and Bill Kupstas came forward and Father read a special prayer for veterans and blessed them with Holy Water.  Many years to Ed and Bill along with all veterans who have faithfully served our country.  Many Years as well to John Swetts and Alexander Baney who are currently serving in the Armed Forces.
