Christ the Saviour's Parish Safety and Security Team was recently recognized as an ALICE Certified Organization. As an ALICE Certified Organization the parish is continuing to pursue safety and security (not just active shooter, but a variety scenarios including fire, and natural disaster) through training, facility & technology upgrades, and implementing industry best practices throughout our property, especially during times of worship. 
The certification is due in no small part to the Christ the Saviour security team - Mark Yerke and Mark Rodak, who have shepherded this important ministry from the very beginning. Of the 708 US houses of worship with the ALICE Certification, Christ the Saviour are most likely the first Orthodox Christian community.
