On July 2, 2019, Fr. Ignatius and Mat. Seraphima Hunter of St. Michael's in Mount Carmel announced the start of a monthly diaper distribution program in partnership with Fr. Ryan Fischer and Mr. Jacob Betz of the Mother Maria Kaupas Center, a Mount Carmel based Roman Catholic charitable organization. The program will provide free diapers to low-income families in the Mount Carmel Area School District. Distributions will begin on July 25 and will continue on a monthly basis thereafter.
