On Saturday, August 26, 2017, following months of cooking, cleaning and preparation, the community of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Edwardsville, PA welcomed friends and neighbors to their 19th Annual Ethnic Food Festival. Home made foods such as their award winning pierogies, holupki, halushki, pagach, as well as Eritrean dishes, baked goods and potato pancakes were available. The Parish enjoys this event as it allows for a day of Orthodox Fellowship as well as a chance to meet and greet their neighbors and old friends. The weather was perfect and the event was once again a great success.
