On April 2, 2017, the Parish Council of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church in Philadelphia, PA took the oath of office.  It was the first official duty of V. Rev. Mark W. Koczak, who on March 28, 2017, officially became the full time rector of the parish with the blessings of both Archbishop Mark and His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon.

Parish Officers are as follows: Peter Parsells (President), David Pellack (Vice-President), Kenneth Kavalkovich (Treasurer), Anastasia Kavalkovich (Secretary), Matthew Andrews (Immediate Past President), Martha Palubniak (Council Member), and Peter Witiak (Council Member).
