St. Michael’s Blesses 8 New Stained Glass Windows Followed By Parish Dinner - 11/13/2016

St. Michael's Orthodox Church in Jermyn, Pa.: The Blessing of 8 New Stained Glass Windows was  held on Sunday, November 13th, following the celebration of the Divine Liturgy. The first 4 windows in the lower level of our new addition were offered by Steve and Martha Myshak and they are the following: St. Stephen, St. Martha & Mary the Sisters of Lazarus, St. George, and Christ the Teacher, and  the 4 windows in the upper level offered by Zinada and Ken O’Dowd are the Gospel, Chalice and Paten; the Pan-Orthodox Cross; and the Holy Spirit in the form of a Dove. This was  followed by a festive St. Michael’s Annual Parish Dinner with 120 people attending and enjoying a full Course Turkey Buffet Dinner and Salad Bar. Following the Dinner, a sneak preview of our new 4-part welcome on our Parish Website was presented by Fr. John Kowalczyk and viewed by all.
