St. Stephen’s Cathedral will host annual St. Herman’s Advent Lecture on Sun, Dec. 13 at 4 PM.  This year’s lecturer will be Dr. David Ford, a professor of Church History at St. Tikhon’s Seminary.  He will present lecture “Dealing with Despondency: the Letters of St. John Chrysostom to St. Olympia the Deaconess”.  Dr. David Ford would like to share with us the wisdom of this famous saint which is contained in the letters of St. John to St. Olympia, which he wrote while in exile.
