St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox Church Marks Good Friday with Matins and Vespers - 04/10/2015
St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox Church in Wilmington Delaware held the Vesper Service of Good Friday and the Matins Service of Holy Saturday on Friday, April 10, 2015. The Very Rev. Fr. James Weremedic concelebrated with the Very Rev. Fr. Mark Koczak, Fr. Deacon James Carpenter, Subdeacon James Weremedic and Altar Servers Samuel Bunitsky and Nicholas Conover. The choir was directed by Paula Daubert.
An outdoor procession was held during the Matins Service. Parishioners venerated the Gospel while entering the church under the Shroud
