St. George Medal Awarded • Edwardsville
Cub Scout Religious award presented at St. John the Baptist
On Sunday, February 17, 2014, Maxim Gingo was awarded the St. George Medal, the first of 3 religious awards in the Boy Scouts of America. Fr. George Volkovinsky presented the award to Maxim following Divine Liturgy. Maxim is a Bear Scout in Pack 281, Dallas, Pennsylvania. The parishioners gathered in Repella Hall afterward for a coffee hour and Orthodox fellowship.
