After six months of planning the “4th Annual Parish Festival & Classic Car Show”, was held on Friday, September 27th, Saturday, September 28th, and Sunday, September 29th at St. Michael’s Orthodox Center in Jermyn, Pennsylvania. The weather was spectacular with Sunshine every day with hundreds of people participating.
Sunday morning began with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy to a packed church with many visitors. We had guests as far as Brookline Mass with students from Hellenic College and Holy Cross Orthodox Seminary. Tours of our Church were given all weekend. Sunday afternoon began with a blessing from His Grace, Bishop Mark to the largest crowd with over 500 people participating. A total of 140 classic cars were registered.
St. Michael’s Center provided Eastern European and Italian food, with 62 theme baskets and local vendors for our guests. The music was provided by Greg Berthholf and Dani-Lelle a local country Music Star.
