On Sunday, January 6th the community at Christ the Saviour (Harrisburg) celebrated the Theophany of our Lord, God, and Saviour Jesus Christ. Following the Divine Liturgy, our parish clergy and faithful served the Great Blessing of the Waters. As we celebrate this feast of light and restoration, we pray that our partaking of these waters might be for our spiritual and bodily health; and that our zeal for Christ and His Church might be multiplied.

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters crying:
“Come, one and all,
receive the Spirit of wisdom,
the Spirit of understanding,
the Spirit of the fear of God,
from Christ Who now has shone forth.
