On Sunday, September 30th His Eminence, Archbishop Tikhon made an archpastoral visit to Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church in Harrisburg. At the Liturgy, His Eminence, awarded Fr. Stephen Vernak the "skufia". Also, con-celebrating with Archbishop Tikhon were the V. Rev. Daniel Ressetar, V. Rev. Dr. Michael Kovach, and V. Rev. David Vernak. A special thanks to all the members of our parish family who came together to prepare for, and celebrate in, the visitation of our Diocesan hierarch, may God grant you many years!

Following the celebration of the Divine Liturgy and fellowship, His Eminence joined clergy and faithful of the greater Harrisburg area in celebrating the 1st Anniversary of the Agia Sophia Coffeehouse and Bookstore (www.agiasophiaharrisburg.com). Also present for this occasion, were the myrrh-streaming icon of St. Anna and her guardian Archimandrite Afanassy. Congratulations to the many faithful from our four local Orthodox parishes, who are celebrating this milestone in our common outreach in downtown Harrisburg!
