St. Tikhon's Diaconal Formation Program
St. Tikhon’s Diaconal Formation Program is Offered at a Location in the Diocese of Eastern PA

The Diaconal Formation Program of St. Tikhon’s Theological Seminary is opened for enrollment for the upcoming school year.  This fully accredited program is designed specifically for the purpose of formation of candidates for ordination into Deaconate.  Currently it is offered on Saturdays during the school year at two satellite campuses, St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Philadelphia, PA and Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Endicott, NY.  These two locations make it ideally suited for the students who have full time job requirements and live in Eastern PA, Eastern MD, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware.  The program is comprised of eight three-credit courses in theological studies that are taken by students over the period of four semesters. In addition to studies the students are required to participate in liturgical practicum.  After the completion of education a graduate is awarded a Certificate in Diaconal Formation.  The credits received after the completion of Diaconal Formation courses can be transferred to residential Seminary program if a student decides to continue his education towards a degree from St. Tikhon’s Seminary.  For any inquires, please contact St. Tikhon’s Seminary office at (570) 561-1818.
