Pilgrims from Russian visit Diocesan Center - 12/19/2010
On Sunday evening, December 19, a group of 15 pilgrims from St. Catherine's Church in Moscow, the OCA representation church in Russia, led by Fr. Zacchaeus, visited His Grace, Bishop Tikhon, at the Diocesan Center in South Canaan. The Diocesan Center and St. Tikhon's Monastery was just one stop on their tour of various centers of Orthodox Christianity in America. Other areas they visited were St. Nicholas Cathedral in Washington, D.C., Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Ellwood City, Jordanville, and Chicago where they attended the memorial service for the Ever-Memorable Archbishop Job (Osacky) on the first year anniversary of his falling asleep in the Lord.
