The Philadelphia Deanery Meeting was held Sunday, Sept. 20, at Wilmington, DE
It was hosted by Fr. Andrew Anderson, Deanery Secretary.  Discussions were held on the upcoming Lecture Series for the Philadelphia Area (a first of its kind here), OCF locations and meetings, and how to evangelize the Philadelhpia Area. The Deanery has adopted the Icon "She who is Quick to Hear" as the patron Icon of the Mother of God for the Deanaery, and the Feast of St. Nikolai of South Canaan and Zicha as our Patronal Feast Day (March 18/May 13).
 
In attendance were:  Archpriest Theodore Heckman, treasurer; Archpriest John Bohush; Priests Victor Gorodenchuk, Matthew Cantrell, Andrew Anderson, and Serguis Willis; Protodeacon Gregory Moser; and Philadelphia dean Archpriest David Mahaffey.  The Akathist to all the North American Saints was celebrated before the relics of St. Alexis of Wilkes-Barre, led by the Dean.
