Pottstown hosts Sisters of Mercy from Belaruse - 08/05/2009
On the Feast of Holy Transfiguration, Holy Trinity Church in Pottstown celebrated Great Vespers with Bishop Tikhon. After the service and the blessing of the fruit, two young women of the Sisters of Mercy in Belarus gave a presentation about their important ministry. St. Elizabeth Convent in Minsk is the center of monastics and lay women that serve the homeless, mentally and physically ill, and children with special needs.(13 images)
