On August 13th, 2009, the clergy and faithful of the Diocese of
Eastern Pennsylvania are invited to participate in the Divine Liturgy
at the Monastery Church of St Tikhon of Zadonsk. This day marks the
yearly commemoration of the patron saint of the Monastery, St Tikhon,
Bishop of Voronezh and Wonderworker of Zadonsk.
 
The Liturgy will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be followed by a luncheon
at which a short presentation on the life of St Tikhon will be
offered. In the afternoon, the clergy of the Diocese will gather at 1
p.m. at the Diocesan Center for a meeting with His Grace, Bishop
Tikhon.
 
Invitations for this event have also been extended to all the
monastics in our wider geographical area and everyone is welcome to
join the Monastery brotherhood and the Diocesan family for this joyous
event.
