Old Forge celebrates anniversary of founding - 07/14/2009
One hundred and eigtheen years ago, St. Michael Orthodox Christian Church was founded in Old Forge. On July 14, parishioners and visitors from surrounding churches celebrated this event on the very day of its founding. St. Michael's rector, Rev. John Soucek, co-celebrated with V. Rev. David Shewczyk and the diocesan Chancellor, V. Rev. John Kowalczyk in the Akathist service "Glory to God for all Things".(37 images)
