Music Workshop at Christ the Savior Church, Harrisburg
Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church in Harrisburg, PA will be hosting an Orthodox two-part music workshop from Friday, October 17th - Saturday, October 18th. The workshop will be led by Monk Sergius (Bowyer) of St. Tikhon Monastery, instructor of Liturgical Music at St. Tikhon Seminary. Fr. Sergius recently launched a web site dedicated to Orthodox two-part music at www.orthodoxtwopartmusic.org.
The workshop will begin on October 17th with Vespers at 6pm and a lecture entitled 'Santification and Worship: Finding Real Life Through the Liturgy' at 7pm. The following day (October 18), Divine Liturgy will be sung in two-parts at 8am, followed by breakfast and a full day dedicated to learning and practicing the techniques and principles of two-part music.

There is a $6 suggested free-will offering to cover the cost of food.
