On December 26-27, 2006 His Grace Bishop Tikhon visited the Cathedral of St. Stephen the Proto-Martyr for it's Patronal Feast day. During the visit, His Grace tonsured four readers and awarded Priest Victor Gorodenchuk the Nebedrinak.At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy His Grace, on behalf of the Cathedral Parish, presented an Icon to the Choir director, Christine Nass for her years of dedicated service. A brunch was then held in the cathedral Parlors. Many Years to the new Readers and to Christine, as she leaves the position as Choir Director.
