Skills Conference for Christian Education and Youth Ministries
The Department of Christian Education of the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania, in conjunction with the National Church, will be sponsoring a skills conference on Saturday, September 30, 2006, at St. Tikhon's Seminary. The conference is entitled "Building Skills for Christian Education and Youth Ministries: Equipping the Saints".
Workshops include: "The Welcoming Classroom", "Do You Want to be Rich with God?", "Bringing Youth Back to Church", "What's Good Teaching?", and "Lesson Planning".
Speakers include: Matushka Valerie Zahirsky, VRev. David Mahaffey, Fr. Dn. Joseph Matusiak, and members of the DCE of the OCA, the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern PA, and the OCA Department of Youth.
Registration is $10 and is due by September 22, 2006.
