HALIFAX, PA [DOEPA]
From October 18-20, 2024, the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania hosted it's inaugural Fall Teen Retreat at Camp Hebron.
His Eminence, Archbishop Mark, attended, with Priest Vjekoslav Jovičić serving as chaplain. Evening and morning prayers were held on Friday night and Saturday morning, followed by question-and-answer sessions centered on "Becoming an Orthodox Adult." The youth who attended shared stories, played games, and participated in archery, hiking, and rock climbing, all while strengthening friendships with peers from the Diocese. Youth of the Archdiocese of Washington, DC were also in attendance.
Great Vespers and Divine Liturgy were celebrated in the Creekside Meetinghouse, with the Youth Choir directed by Reader Samuel Regen. The Fall Teen Retreat was a resounding success for the youth of our diocese and beyond, showcasing their commitment to faith and community.
After a weekend filled with faith, fun, and fellowship, the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania looks forward to the Winter Teen Retreat, scheduled for January 31-February 2, with registration opening soon.
Glory to God for all things!
