St. Alexis Toth Brotherhood
The St. Alexis Brotherhood is a diocesan fellowship bringing together Orthodox Christian men from parishes throughout the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania for faith, friendship, fellowship, and service.
Inspired by the life and witness of Saint Alexis of Wilkes-Barre, the Brotherhood seeks to strengthen the bonds among men across the Diocese while encouraging a deeper commitment to Christ and His Church. Through gatherings, spiritual discussions, shared meals, service opportunities, pilgrimages, and other activities, members are given opportunities to build meaningful friendships and support one another in the Orthodox Christian life.
The Brotherhood is intended to complement the life of the local parish by creating additional opportunities for men from different communities throughout the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania to meet one another, learn from one another, and grow together in faith. Men of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to participate and take an active role in building a strong diocesan fellowship.
At its heart, the St. Alexis Brotherhood is about strengthening relationships among the men of the Diocese and, through those relationships, strengthening the life of the Church. By bringing together men from across the Diocese, the Brotherhood hopes to foster a lasting spirit of fellowship, mutual encouragement, service, and active participation in the life and mission of the Church.
All men of the God-protected Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania are invited to take part, bring a friend or fellow parishioner, and help build the St. Alexis Brotherhood for years to come. Through the prayers of Saint Alexis of Wilkes-Barre, may the Lord strengthen the men of our Diocese in faith, fellowship, and service to His Holy Church.
O Holy Father Alexis, pray unto God for us!
