On Sunday, October 7th, the Orthodox community of St. Tikhon's Seminary and Monastery held its Founder's Day celebration in honor of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow (celebrated liturgically on October 9), and the other Founders of the Monastery and Seminary, especially Archbishop Arseny, of blessed memory.
His Eminence, Archbishop Tikhon of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania, presided at the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy and offered the homily for the day.
Following the Liturgy, a pot-luck dinner was served to all in attendance. The annual meeting of the Century Association of St Tikhon's Seminary took place in conjunction with the Founders' Day celebrations.
