Blessing of the Agia Sophia Cafe and Bookstore, Harrisburg - 07/31/11
On Sunday, July 31, the Agia Sophia Coffee House and Bookstore was blessed by His Grace, Bishop Tikhon, in the presence of nearly 100 attendants and 10 clergy representing three jurisdictions. The nearly completed Agia Sophia is the fruit of two years' work by the pan-Orthodox Christian Charities of Greater Harrisburg. The coffee house and bookstore will serve as an extension of the church - evangelizing, offering hospitality, and charity.
