Feast of Theophany (Julian calendar) at St. Stephen Cathedral - 01/19/11
On Wednesday, January 19, His Grace Bishop Tikhon celebrated the Divine Liturgy for the Feast of Holy Theophany according to the Julian calendar at St Stephen Cathedral in Philadelphia. Over 75 faithful were in attendance at the service, which included the Great Blessing of Waters. Concelebrating were the Dean of the Cathedral, the Rev. Victor Gorodenchuk and the Rev. Nicholai Gulin, who is temporarily serving the Russian community at the Cathedral. Deacon George Zlatkowski also served for the Liturgy. Following the Blessing of Waters, a joyous meal was served in the Cathedral hall.
