Very Busy Saturday at Holy Apostles - 06/11/23
The Feast of All Saints day yesterday morning (Sunday, 6/11) was bustling with activity at Holy Apostles! During our Divine Liturgy service, we rejoiced in the reception into the Holy Orthodox Church through Holy Chrismation of the Mallin-Schaefer Family! Please join us in welcoming and congratulating the newly-illumined Christopher, Abigail, Elizabeth, Zechariah, and Lucy! May God grant them and their sponsors -- Jesse Hake and Barbara Williams -- Many Years!
Celebrating the Divine Liturgy with Father Timothy, was Deacon Kirill Zawatski, a seminarian from Saint Tikhon's Orthodox Seminary who will be entering his Senior year this Fall. Deacon Kirill delivered a motivating homily on the significance of All Saints Day. We were delighted to have Deacon Kirill and Matushka Olivia visit and wish them good health and Many Years!
We also honored our 2023 Parish Graduates -- Cecelia Legaspi, Johnathan Wilt, Susanna Gaither, Anna Harrison, Adam Minarich, Naomi Tegene, Michael Merten, Jessika Nebrat, Kristen Powers, Christian Tegene, and Christopher Schaefer. Congratulations! May God bless them and grant them Many Years!
