On Saturday, December 17, the Sunday School of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Edwardsville, PA accompanied by many parishioners purchased, prepared and delivered a full Christmas dinner to residents at St. Hedwig’s Veterans Center. This long running outreach program is a favorite of the parish, and unfortunately due to circumstances beyond control, they were forced to drop off the meals instead of sharing them with the residents. The parish also provided large gift baskets filled with lots of presents. Each resident also got a large container of home made goodies, candy, and gift cards.
