St. John the Baptist Celebrates 3rd Sunday of the Great Fast - 03/27/22
On Sunday, March 27, the community of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Edwardsville PA gathered to celebrate the 3rd Sunday of Great Lent - Sunday of the Cross. Before Divine Liturgy, Fr. Barnabas placed the decorated cross in the center of the temple and all venerated it.
Fr. Barnabas delivered a timely and powerful message about the Cross the Parish bears - and why we bear it. His message was a great uplift as we face our struggles.
Following Liturgy, the parish venerated the Cross and retired to Repella Hall for a lenten meal and Orthodox Fellowship.
