On December 6, 2019 - St Nicholas Day - the community of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church in Frackville welcomed Nicholas Maher into their parish family. The baptism was special to the parish as in their efforts to enlarge their family population they were blessed to have this wonderful man convert and have his ceremony on his name sake day - St. Nicholas day.
