Diocesan Clergy Attend Retreat at Fransiscan Spiritual Center - 02/15/18
The clergy of the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania gathered for their Annual Pre-Lenten Retreat at the Franciscan Spiritual Center in Aston, PA. The retreat opened with Small Compline and a Service of asking mutual Forgiveness, followed by a video by Metropolitan Anthony Bloom on Forgiveness. The V. Rev. Fr. Martin Browne and the V. Rev. Nicholas Solak, III facilitated discussion on forgiveness. Friday morning the clergy began the day with morning prayer, breakfast and a presentation on the Prayer of St Ephraim the Syrian. The presentations were challenging, and introspective. Our clergy were given adequate time for prayer, reading, confession and fellowship.
