Holy Annunciation Sunday School Presents Annual Yolka Program - 12/18/16
On Sunday, December 18th, Holy Annunciation's Sunday School held their Christmas yolka. The younger children's play, taught by Tamara Beachell and Tatiana Kessler, had a modern twist on the Nativity by having no room at the "Bethlehem Inn and Spa." The middle school and high school students, taught by Heather Tripp and Matushka Catherine Demko, play was based on the real reason we celebrate Christmas and the ways we can get caught up in the commercialization of the Christmas season. All the classes put together a Jesse Tree and each told the meaning behind their ornament and how it relates to Nativity.
