OLD FORGE, PA [DOEPA]

On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Forgiveness Sunday, St. Michael's Church in Old Forge, PA, welcomed Paul Dunay III into the Orthodox Church with Chrismation before the Divine Liturgy. May God grant him many years!

The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Priest Michael Shepherd, Rector.

Following the Liturgy, Forgiveness Vespers was celebrated, during which parishioners participated in the Rite of Forgiveness, asking one another for forgiveness for any words or deeds, known or unknown.

"If you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will forgive you; but if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your heavenly Father forgive you your trespasses." – Matthew 6:14

Glory to God for all things!
