Blessing of Vehicles in Celebration of the Prophet Elijah at All Saints Church - 07/21/2024
OLYPHANT, PA [DOEPA]
On Sunday, July 21, All Saints Orthodox Church in Olyphant, PA, celebrated the Feast of the Holy and Glorious Prophet Elijah with a blessing of parishioners' vehicles.
Serving the Divine Liturgy was Priest Paul Witek, Rector of All Saints Church, along with servers of the parish.
Following the Divine Liturgy, Priest Paul Witek blessed a gold miter and presented it as a gift to Mitered Archpriest Daniel Geeza from the faithful of All Saints Parish.
Following the veneration of the cross, a procession was made, and the vehicles of the parish were blessed. Through the prayers of the Holy Prophet Elijah, may the Lord bless and protect all those who are traveling this summer season.
