On Saturday, November 14, 2026, Holy Trinity Church in Stroudsburg, PA, will joyfully celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the parish and the 30th Anniversary of the Consecration of its church building.
In announcing the upcoming celebration, Priest Vjekoslav JoviÄić, Rector of Holy Trinity Church, expressed his gratitude and excitement for the historic occasion, noting that the parish is "overjoyed to announce a double milestone this fall." Father Vjekoslav warmly extended an invitation to the clergy and faithful of the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania, stating, "You are all invited to join and participate in this historic occasion."
The anniversary celebration will offer an opportunity to give thanks to Almighty God for five decades of parish life, ministry, and witness in the Pocono region, as well as thirty years since the consecration of the church building that has served as the spiritual home of the parish community.
The parish has released preliminary information regarding the celebration, including an event flyer containing scheduling details and a commemorative ad form for those wishing to submit congratulatory messages and advertisements for the upcoming Anniversary Book. Formal invitations are expected to be distributed later this summer. The Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania joins the clergy and faithful of Holy Trinity Church in giving thanks to God for these blessed milestones and looks forward to this joyful celebration of the parish's rich history and continued ministry.
