On behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Mark, the Clergy, Matushki and Faithful of the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania, the Diocesan Media Office extends its warmest congratulations to Archpriest Timothy Hojnicki, Vice-Chancellor of the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania, Dean of the Frackville Deanery, and Rector of Holy Apostles Church in Mechanicsburg, PA, on the occasion of his 21st anniversary of ordination to the Holy Priesthood.
Father Timothy was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on Saturday, January 29, 2005, the Feast of the Translation of the relics of the Hieromartyr Ignatius, the Godbearer and Bishop of Antioch, by the laying on of hands of His Beatitude Metropolitan Herman (+9/6/22) at his home parish of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Wilmington, DE. Following his ordination, Father Timothy was assigned as Priest-in-Charge of All Saints Church in Olyphant, PA.
In June 2005, he was appointed Rector of Holy Apostles Mission in Mechanicsburg, PA, where he has faithfully served the parish for the past twenty years.
Through his years of faithful ministry, he has served Christ’s Church with pastoral care, teaching, liturgical expertise and devotion, offering himself in service to the faithful entrusted to him. His priestly witness continues to reflect a genuine and deep love for the Church and a steadfast commitment to the Gospel.
We pray that God will grant Archpriest Timothy, Matushka Anastasia, and their family many years. Axios!
