On a brilliantly sunny day (Sunday, August 20), HAOC's parish faithful, family, and friends came together for our annual pool party -- lovingly referred to as P6 -- Parish Potteiger Pool Party Picnic Palooza! An abundance of merriment, fun, and fellowship ensued among all those attending. They were treated to swimming, diving, sliding, and cannonballs and other competitive contests in the gorgeous pool; along with games of corn hole, wiffle ball, tennis, and basketball; as well as a scrumptious spread of food, drink, and desserts, culminating in a bona fide ice cream truck! A spectacular fireworks display capped the end of the perfect day! This popular annual event was hosted by the incomparably generous and gracious Mark and Sherry Potteiger, who willingly open up their beautiful pool and grounds to our parish each year, along with the amazing preparation, coordination, and organization of Josh and Kelly and Brandon and Emmelia Potteiger.
