On Sunday, November 24, clergy from the Frackville Deanery took part in a Thanksgiving Service at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in Oberlin, PA. Fr. John Parker, Dean of St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary was the guest homilist by invitation of Fr. Timothy Hojnicki, Dean. Seven priests, two deacons and a 25 voice choir led congregational singing to the Thanksgiving Akathistos. Following the service a lenten meal was served.
