His Grace, Bishop Tikhon, regrets to announce that his maternal Grandmother, Cynthia McCarter, fell asleep in the Lord on March 28, 2012 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She was 101 years old and further details of her long life can be read in her obituary here:

 

His Grace is thankful for the prayers of all the clergy and faithful of the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania and asks that they would continue to pray for Cynthia’s repose. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the two charitable organizations that are referenced in the above obituary.

 

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 31, at St Luke’s Episcopal Church in Mount Joy, PA.
