Archpastoral Prayer Request from His Eminence Archbishop Mark

Dear to God,

Christ is in our midst! He is and ever shall be!

I ask your fervent prayers for my sister, Rhonda (Maymon) Eckert, who has been hospitalized for the past two weeks and is undergoing extensive medical evaluation. Following a bone marrow examination, she is scheduled to undergo a biopsy today of a mass located at the front of her brain. This comes during an already difficult time for Rhonda and our family, following the recent repose of her husband, Robert “Bob” Eckert (+7/21/26).

Please remember Rhonda in your prayers, asking our Lord Jesus Christ, the Physician of our souls and bodies, to grant her strength, comfort, healing, and a favorable outcome, and to guide and strengthen the physicians and medical staff caring for her.

I humbly ask your prayers for our family during this difficult time, that the Lord may strengthen and sustain us through His mercy and love.
